NTK's Pledge towards a better Healthcare system!

             How is it possible that a private hospital with a fraction of the capital compared to a government hospital is able to provide - “a superior quality of treatment?”. Is it okay to let a field as Nobel as medicine be capitalised on for financial gains? Don’t everyone have the rights to avail the best quality medical aid irrespective of
their social strata?
         Yet not a day passes when a person prefers a public hospital hoping for the superior treatment. Does this mean that the government hospitals or the doctors working there are by any means less competent than the ones working for a private sector?  “NO”.   The doctors working under the government are one of the most competent, skilful physicians. They have been selected based on criteria that may seem too challenging to those working/studying at a Private establishment. Yet, the common notation is “why would you choose a government hospital?” 
          Now that the credibility of the Doctor is out of question let's face some harsh reality.  The government continues to spend crores of its budget on health care and paramedical resources but the constant lack of management has led to the suppression of government funding, intern helping the private hospitals.
         Though the bureaucracy suggests a check for personals under governing the functions of medical bodies, there seems to a lack of accountability. Heck, how can we expect that when the very people who set up the system are reluctant to get treated there and choose private facilities. How can a common man trust the system when the so-called leaders keep away from it?
          Imagine a time when all the govt. officials, MLA, Ministers make it a point to only get themselves treated at government hospitals. How strongly will accountability be rooted among the workers then? 
                Naam Tamilar Katchi promises exactly this, under Naam Tamilar Katchi’s governance; all Ministers and MLAs will get themselves treated at a government Hospital, nurturing deeply the trust in the system they have built. bringing forward a more accountable medical care system providing the best quality treatment that we all truly deserve. 

        Let's stop handing our money to a private hospital, let us trust the system that we have paid to build.
