Drinking-Water is Not A Business 

         

         Pollution, Contamination, Lack of Maintenance, Improper law enforcement collectively has led to the point where most of Chennai’s natural water resources have either depreciated, vanished or have been deemed unfit for consumption 


         Imagine a scenario where you have to “Pay for the air you breath” -  How ridiculous does it sound? Well, we are sorry to inform you that paying for drinking water is no different from this.


         Safe drinking water is a right for every living creature. Let's not forget the #Trending social media videos where animals such as squirrels, monkeys, snakes were seen begging for water from passerby tourists. It is saddening to see that the beautiful innocent lifeforms depending on the mother nature have to face the consequences of our mismanagement. 


          Yet not one day when our city faced the worst water crisis, while thousands of water tankers were pushing hard to meet the city’s 10 million litres of water consumption a day did the companies producing carbonated drinks, packaged drinking water situated near the city were denied water by our lawmakers


          Pay only Rs.10 for packaged safe drinking water was a thing implemented by the state government to battle the Rs 20 price point of various commercial brands. It's ironic to see the very government that provides Rice, TV’s, Mixer grinders, laptops for free cannot provide a basic necessity such as clean safe drinking water to us public.


          Let this end in this election, #TNElection2021 help us bring a change, Stop paying for what is yours. 

        Naam Tamilar Katchi promises free safe drinking water to all the citizens. With a detailed plan to rebuild and rehabilitate the lost natural resources, we are certain to bring about a shift to what seems a never-ending feud.

    Naam Thamilar Katchi is the only
    political party which has assured free clean drinking water to not just us(humans) but has pledged for safe and pollutionfree water for all living creatures and irrigation.

    The only political party which cares about preserving nature and environment.
