How is it possible that a private hospital with a fraction of the capital compared to a government hospital is able to provide - “a superior quality of treatment?”. Is it okay to let a field as Nobel as medicine be capitalised on for financial gains? Don’t everyone have the rights to avail the best quality medical aid irrespective of their social strata? Yet not a day passes when a person prefers a public hospital hoping for the superior treatment. Does this mean that the government hospitals or the doctors working there are by any means less competent than the ones working for a private sector? “NO”. The doctors working under the government are one of the most competent, skilful physicians. They have been selected based on criteria that may seem too challenging to those working/studying at a Private establishment. Yet, the common notation is “why would you choose a government hospital?” ...
